Transatlanticism

The Atlantic was born today and I'll tell you how
The clouds above opened up and let it out

I was standing on the surface of a perforated sphere
When the water filled every hole
And thousands upon thousands made an ocean,
Making islands where no island should go
Oh no

Those people were overjoyed, they took to their boats
I thought it less like a lake, and more like a moat

The rhythm of my footsteps crossing flatlands to your door
Have been silenced forever more
The distance is quite simply much too far for me to row
It seems farther than ever before
Oh no

I need you so much closer

I need you so much closer
So come on, come on

In the deepest ocean,

MATT HALES IS <3!!!!!!!!!!!!11
Yes I am sorry but I just needed to get that out. He is adorable. No kidding. His blog(?) posts always make me all melty and smiley. And after reading his latest I kind of imploded and went AWWWWWWWWWW and I really needed to get it out so yes here I am typing this.
Strange and beautiful, he is.
Saw a cat on the way back. Was clean and cute and I Interacted with it. A little.
Watched Terminator Salvation which was actually pretty good (I am really not a movie person) but umm really sometimes I think they just throw the romance in for the fun of it.
Skynet (okay I can't remember the name now) reminds me of Mordor!! Everytime they had scenes with the outskirts of Skynet I would just be all Frodo!Mordor!MountDOom! Hee, LotR geek I am.
Oh and after the movie ended Jamie leaned across to talk to me and the first thing she said was 'Christian Bale is very good looking!'
Had buffet lunch and okay I realised why everyone looked at me weird when I said I was going home for dinner. I'm still full, and I haven't eaten dinner. (Just watermelon and some chips and Twisties. Hah.)
I got tons of new songs from everyone's favourite Hamster and they make me so happy. Rachael Yamagata made me want to listen to her whole album which is rare because I get bored so easily.
And Feist. So brilliant.
P.S- It is cold (cool?) for the first time in forever!!!!1 Which is awesome but I am wearing a jacket even though I like the cold but it really is kind of cold.
This is how my heart behaves

At the bottom of the sea

Okay so since I didn't go for Math lecture this morning I was intending to do some Math until I had to go for the Bio lecture... Only I got kind of distracted, so um.

Lookie, it's Ed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Hee. I am going to watch the Thumbs Down and Scotch Mist webcasts when I get home later.
Edit: I forgot to say, that song is awesome'. :D

Your eyes,

Helloz.
I just read an article about Twitter in the paper and the only reason I bothered to read it was because Owen Pallett tweets. Prior to my discovery of his Twitter page, I couldn't care less. Oh well.
My knees acheeeeeeeee. I feel old. On the bus today my hips were aching. Srzly. I have no idea how that happened.
Had my Econs paper today, which was all very well for... the first half hour or so. And after that I was just randomly throwing stray half formed notions of impacts and policies in.
After that, there was lunch and boring SGC briefing which made me laugh at first because it could also stand for Stargate Command.
And then to town to use my Kino vouchers. And I bought a copy of The Time Traveler's Wife! Am happy.
Btw, books are expensive. (Hardcover of Trudi Canavan's new book was like $40, which is very very sad.)
Borders layout nicer than Kino's. But no more Swordspoint sequel. However, just got another discount coupon in the mail. Which will be used for Kushiel's Mercy (and to fund mine and Pam's future library). <- I just retyped that thing in brackets about five times and I know it's still wrong but I honestly have no idea how it's supposed to be. English = fail.
HMV has nice CDs. Must remember not to go there often, staff will remember me as weird random person who spends an hour staring at CDs but not buying anything.
Their only Final Fantasy album is gone!
Oh yeah, and for some reason most of the pretty music that I want happens to be imported and costs like $30 an album. :/ (So if anyone happens to be going overseas, please let me know...)
I want vinyls! So pretty and classic, though I have nothing to play them on. (I went to look up vinyls on Wikipedia, and I kind of want to be an audiophile. Only, too much techobabble so I can't be bothered.)
Now that my next exams are three weeks away and I am not in immediate danger of failing, slacking does not seem to be as attractive. It's my default state anyway, but I do not feel the urge to start stalking people on the internet or whatever.
It is past nine, I can go look for food without being too much of a pig!
Cheers.
I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together
(I think I might like The Beatles!)
